A Vega machine is an electroacupuncture device which proponents claim can diagnose allergies and other illnesses.[1]
The only rigorous scientific paper published on the Vega device has shown them to be entirely ineffective.[2] Though manufacturers make brief and general claims as to how their device(s) achieve their purported results but these claims cannot be substantiated either in fact or in theory. These devices are not new, the first one to be commercially marketed appears to have been around 1968, the Vegatest.
